| Sid C. Smith is sole shareholder in the firm of SCS CONSULTING, INC. in Centennial, Colorado. Prior to starting SCS Consulting, Inc. in November 2004, Sid had been in public accounting since 1985 and was with the IRS from 1967 - 1984, where he held several technical and managerial positions, including a top-level position as the Chief, Examination Division, Denver District.
He has served on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Society of CPAs, as Vice-President, as chairman of the CSCPA Federal Tax Committee, and as an Instructor for Courses in Continuing Education. He has been a guest instructor at Denver University Law School and at the Denver University Tax Institute. He has also served as a practioner member of the IRS Director's Advisor Group for the Ogden Service Center. In 1999, our services were expanded to include financial planning and investment services. Sid is an LPL Registered Representative with Peak Capital Investment Services, and holds the following NASD security licenses: Series 7, 6, 65, and 63. Services offered in this area include: Retirement Planning, Investment Planning, College Funding Plans, Asset Allocation, Mutual Funds, Annuities, Life, Disability and Long-Term Care Insurance.
